On March 6, 2023 Dr. Songheang Ai paid an official visit to Seberang Perai Vocational College in Penang City in purposes of 1) benchmarking best practices from the college; 2) sharing best practices on technical education regionally; and 3) extending cooperation. The visit was warmly welcomed by Mr. Tn Haji Zainol Bin Mohd Radzi, president of the college, faculty members and administrators. Both directors have exchanged views on technical education as impressive remarks.
Photo of Presentation and Best Practice SharingFinally, the delegates have a campus tour to visit labs, workshops, counseling rooms, learning centers, and classrooms to see the reality of college work. For example, all students are required to stay at school hostels. After graduating, each year 70% of graduates is employed, 20% does their further studies for higher degrees, and 10% becomes entrepreneurs under career plans guided by school counselors.
