International Training Course on Comparison of CSR and Sustainability Reporting Implementation for the Continuity of SMEs in Various Countries

SEAMEO TED in collaboration with Bina Insani University (Indonesia) co-organized a training course on Comparison of CSR and Sustainability Reporting Implementation for the Continuity of SMEs in Various Countries, which was, which was held on 03, 10, and 17 April, 2021virtually.

Professor, Ms. Chita Oktapiana was the lecture of this important training. During the lecture, the definition and the significances of CSR were shared with the participants. Participants are allowed to have exchanges questions and answers in discussions related to CSR while lecturing and present their assignments. In addition, the lecture has highlighted the difference between CSR and Charity, CSR roles in developing countries, and CSR Funding. Finally, the lecture shared the Five Targets of CSR: CSR Recognition in Business, Reporting of CSR, Sustainability Reporting, Elements of Sustainability Reporting, and Sustainability for Business.  This training was attended by 12 participants from Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
