SEAMEO Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with POLITEKNIK NEGERI JAKARTA (PNJ) to collaborate in a number of areas to pursue common educational and human development. The official signing ceremony was made face-to-face at PNJ campus, Jakarta, Indonesia on 25 May 2022 with the witness of Directors, Management Team and Experts of PNJ and delegate from SEAMEO TED. The MoU was made to serve six important objectives: (1) To collaborate in undertaking joint regional training programs, academic and cultural events for instructors, school directors, and students in applied science and vocational education; (2) To collaborate in undertaking joint regional research projects and publication; (3) To collaborate in undertaking joint regional community services program; (4) To collaborate in undertaking joint workshops, webinars, seminars, or conferences on technical and vocational education development; (5) To collaborate in teaching language programs; and (6)To facilitate international mobility for students, teachers, and staff. The MoU was made effective for a period of five (5) years from the date of the signing by the two parties.
