Training Course on “How to Use a TVET LMS and Virtual TVET”

SEAMEO TED in cooperation with Labtech International Co., Ltd. co-organized a face-to-face training course on “How to Use a TVET LMS and Virtual TVET” on July 18-20, 2022 at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Phnom Penh, Cambodia, accommodating a total of 23 participants as technical education teachers and supporting administrators.
The course covered Understanding & Mastering a Digital TVET Framework, the use of a TVET LMS and Virtual TVET Digital Content & How to Login, Different Approaches of Blended (Hybrid) Learning, How to Maximize the use of Virtual TVET, Competency Based Training (CBT) with a TVET LMS, TVET LMS Reporting and Analytics, Creating your own courses within a TVET LMS , How to use Online and Face-to-Face Polling, Overcoming the Fear of Using New Technology, and some practicing activities. The training was taught by Mr. Brad Ker, general manager of Labtech Academy, Dr. Steven McKee, president & founder, Labtech International Co., Ltd., Mr. Shahrir Shafiek, marketing manager, Labtech International Co., Ltd.
The course purposed to 1) familiarize technical education teachers with Digital TVET platform; 2) apply digital learning platform at the academic setting; and 3) enable technical education teachers to use digital TVET tools to enhance students learning.
