SEAMEO TED, Cambodia in collaboration with SEAMEO CECCEP, Indonesia co-organized an intensive training course on E-Certificate Management System on 19 May 2021 virtually. Dr. Dwi Priyono, SEAMEO CECCEP Director gave his opening remarks welcoming all participants from Cambodia and stressed the significances of the training topic, particularly for academic institutions. The course aimed to share knowledge of e-certificate management to relevant participants from a variety of technical organizations. Mr. Iwan Aries Setyawan, head of knowledge management system division, and Mr Deny Nugraha, IT officer of SEAMEO CECCEP. There were 44 participants from various institutions in Cambodia such as National Institute of Education (NIE), Department of Non-Formal Education, Department of Examination Affairs, Vocational Orientation Department, Department of Youth, Teacher Training Department, Phnom Penh Teacher Education College, Kampong Speu Institute of Technology, Kampong Chheuteal Demonstration High School, Department of Policy, General Directorate of Policy and Planning, Department of Early Childhood Education, and SEAMEO TED. All organizations are under a purview of ministry of education, youth, and sport (MoEYS). There were also two participants from Go Study Global Education, China.
Finally, Dr. Songheang Ai, Director of SEAMEO TED closed the training course with some takeaway messages for participants. His special thanks went to the trainers and especially SEAMEO CECCEP for their efforts and time spent for this training course successfully. He highlighted a positive signal of better cooperation between SEAMEO TED and SEAMEO CECCEP that might move forward together. He encouraged participants and trainers to communicate and interact each other in the Telegram Group for further inquires or concerns regarding the training topic today. He hoped that after today’s training course, participants will make an action plan to apply the topic at their work setting under a constant support from IT officers and individual organization management.
