Online training course on The Development and Application of Intelligent Manufacturing

Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED), Go Study Global Education China, Neijiang Vocational & Technical College in China and the Universitas PGRI Semarang in Indonesia co-organized a virtual training course on “The Development and Application of Intelligent Manufacturing” participated by 132 participants from eleven countries consisting of Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Gambia, Uganda, Serbia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Afghanistan and Timor-Leste. The course was held from 19:00 pm to 20:30 pm (GMT+8) on July 14, 2023 in the purpose of sharing knowledge and expertise of Intelligent Manufacturing by Chinese lecturer, Mr. Xu Changmao and Asst. Prof. Muhammad Amirudin, Indonesian lecturer.
Mr. Xu Changmao introduced the characteristics of Industry 4.0 Smart Manufacturing and its benefits in the future journey. In addition, Asst. Prof. Muhammad Amirudin lectured the Basic Controllers in Industrial Processes including Control System Elements, Comparison Element, Measurement Element, Control Law Implementation, Proportional Controller, Proportional Integral Controller, Proportional Integral Derivative Controller, Correction and Process Element, Observation and Work Performance Parameters. The interaction and communication as part of Q & A session, were encouraged in terms of answering participants’ questions, concerns or comments.
In sum, the course provided participants with core knowledge in the field of Intelligent Manufacturing, Logistic Skills and Competence. Moreover, it also builds up a good relationship among participants and students in the ASEAN region and other orders of the world. Participants and lecturers actively involved and enjoyed the course by raising and answering questions as part of social learning approach. Each participant will get a certificate from SEAMEO TED, Universitas PGRI Semarang, and Neijiang Vocational & Technical College after successfully completing the course for the credits of their professional development programs.
